This scheme is specifically designed for students in the 12th standard, enabling them to enhance their learning experience with modern technology at a nominal cost.

The “Tablet Assistance to Scheduled Caste Students” (SC Tablet Sahay) scheme is orchestrated by the Director of Scheduled Caste Welfare under the Government of Gujarat. This initiative aims to equip SC students enrolled in the 12th standard with tablets, which they can acquire by paying a token fee of just ₹1,000.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Caste community in Gujarat.
• Students should be currently enrolled in the 12th standard.

Note: Students must have previously obtained a tablet from the education department by paying the specified token fee.

Steps to Apply for the Scheme

Interested students can apply online through the Digital Gujarat Portal. Below is a detailed step-by-step guide to the application process:

1. Visit the official Digital Gujarat Portal.
2. Click on ‘Register’ on the homepage to access the registration form.
3. Input your Mobile Number, Email, create a Password, and click ‘Save’.
4. Once registered successfully, log in using your User Name (Mobile No./Email ID) and Password.
5. Select ‘My Profile’ to update your profile with all required details.
6. After filling in your profile, click ‘Update Profile’. The update will be confirmed after entering the verification Code (OTP).
7. Under services, click on ‘Scholarship Services’ followed by ‘SC Scheme’.
8. Select the Financial Year for which you wish to apply and click ‘Change Financial Year’.
9. Choose the appropriate scheme, read the terms carefully, and click ‘Continue to Service’.
10. Complete the application form and upload all necessary documents.
11. Click ‘Save as Draft’, agree to the terms & conditions, and submit your application by selecting ‘Confirm & Final Submit’.

Note: Students can also seek assistance from their respective school principals to avail the benefits of this scheme.

• All applicants must upload a recent photograph.
• The application will only be deemed complete when all sections have been filled out.
• Only one application per student will be accepted; multiple submissions will lead to rejection.
• Providing incorrect or misleading information may result in application rejection.
• Ensure that all required documents are scanned as per the specified guidelines.
• Students must complete their applications carefully, as changing the institution after submission is not permitted.
• Illegible documents may result in disqualification of the application.
• Direct submission of the application form by students studying within the state is not permitted; only students from outside the state must submit their forms online to their native district officer.
