Overview of the Scheme

Launched on December 20, 2020, under the auspices of the Women and Child Development Department of the Rajasthan Government, the Indira Mahila Shakti Prashikshan Evam Kaushal Sanvardhan Yojna focuses on equipping young women and girls with essential computer skills. In today’s digital era, proficiency in computer usage is a necessity, as most governmental and private sector tasks are now conducted online. Recognizing this need, the Rajasthan government has sponsored this scheme to provide free computer training, enabling women to become self-sufficient and secure a brighter future.

This initiative includes a special reservation for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, allocating 18% of seats for SC and 14% for ST applicants. Should there be a lack of candidates in these categories, the remaining seats will be open to other applicants.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan.
• Only women and girls are eligible for this scheme.
• Eligible age group is 16 to 40 years.
• Priority will be given to widowed, divorced, or abandoned women facing domestic violence.
• Applicants must have completed at least the 10th grade from a recognized government school or possess a graduate degree.
• Anganwadi workers must have completed their graduation to qualify.

Application Process

Online Application

1. Visit the official portal of the scheme.
2. Enter your mobile number and the security code.
3. Click on “Send OTP” and input the OTP received for verification.
4. Review all instructions that appear on the new page.
5. Click on “Apply Online for RS-CIT Course”.
6. Fill in your details, including:
   • District
   • Tehsil
   • Preference (1 or 2)
   • Your Name
   • Father’s Name
   • Upload the required documents
7. Submit your application after ensuring all information is accurate.
8. An application ID will be sent to your mobile or email post submission.

Login Process

1. Access the official portal of the scheme.
2. Click on the “Login” option.
3. Input your application ID along with:
   • Application Name
   • Father’s Name
   • Date of Birth
4. Click on the “Login” button.
