Eligibility Requirements

For Registration as a Building/Construction Worker:

  • The applicant must be a resident of the U.T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
  • The applicant should be actively engaged as a Building/Construction Worker.
  • The age of the applicant must be between 18 and 60 years.
  • Applicant must have worked in the building or other construction sectors for a minimum of 90 days within the past year.

For Application to the Welfare Scheme:

  • The applicant must be a registered member of the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
  • The applicant should be enrolled under the “Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.”
  • It is mandatory for the applicant to attend training programs associated with the “Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.”

Application Procedure

Offline Application Process for Registration as a Building/Construction Worker:

  1. Fill out the registration application using the prescribed form, attaching all required documents, along with a nominal fee not exceeding ₹50.
  2. Submit the application to the designated officer authorized by the Board.

Application Process for the Welfare Scheme:

  1. A registered worker must request the prescribed application format from the authorized officer of the Board and attach all necessary documents (self-attested, if applicable).
  2. The completed application should be submitted to the Member Secretary of the BOCW Welfare Board for consideration.

Step 1: A registered worker should request a prescribed format for the application from the officer authorized by the Board and should attach all the mandatory documents (self attested, if required).
Step 2: Application shall be submitted to the Member Secretary (BOCWWB) for this benefit.
