The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has initiated a Summer Internship Scheme designed to foster engagement between its officers and ambitious students and researchers who possess notable academic credentials. This program is particularly aimed at those studying or researching in fields such as Public Policy, Economics, Law, Finance, and Management. Internship Duration

Declaration of Secrecy

Before commencing the internship, participants must submit a Declaration of Secrecy to ensure confidentiality and professionalism throughout their tenure.

Location

The internship will take place at the DGFT headquarters located in New Delhi. Interns will be assigned to various divisions and will report directly to the division heads.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this internship, applicants must meet the following conditions:

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• The candidate should be pursuing studies either in India or abroad.
• A strong academic record is essential.
• The applicant must hold a graduation degree in one of the following fields:
  • Public Policy
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Management
  • Law
• A minimum of 60% marks is required in the graduation degree.
• The degree should be obtained from one of the recognized institutions such as:
  • National Schools of Law
  • Central Universities
  • AICTE recognized Financial/Economics Institutions
  • Recognized National Management Institutes
  • Foreign Universities
  • Institutions of Excellence
