The “Financial Assistance To Non-School Going Disabled Children Scheme” was initiated by the Government of Haryana’s Department of Social Justice and Empowerment in the fiscal year 2008-09.   • A valid Medical Certificate must be issued by the Civil Surgeon, confirming one of the following disabilities:
    • Mental Retardation with an IQ not exceeding 50 or a disability percentage of 70% or higher.
    • Cerebral Palsy.
    • Autism Spectrum Disorder.
    • Multiple disabilities with a total permanent disability of 70% or more as outlined in the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995.
    • Orthopedic disabilities with a permanent disability of 100%, including conditions such as Myopathy, Paraplegia, or Quadriplegia.
  • The financial condition of the applicant’s parents or close relatives should be such that their combined income is below the minimum wage threshold. Proof of income must be verified by the appropriate authority.

Offline Application

  1. The applicant must visit the Social Welfare Department (DSWO) office in their Block or District to obtain the application form. An alternative option is to download the form from the official website of the Department.
  2. Complete the application form and attach all necessary documents.
  3. Get the application form attested by the relevant authority as specified in the form.
  4. Submit the duly filled and attested application form to the Social Welfare Department (DSWO) office in your Block or District.

Online Application

  1. Visit the Antyodaya-SARAL Portal.
  2. If you are already registered, log in using your credentials. If not, register by providing the required details.
  3. Click on “Check Your Eligibility” and enter the necessary information.
  4. Select the department name, which is Social Justice And Empowerment, or search by the scheme name.
  5. Click on “Apply for Service/Scheme.”
  6. Fill in all required information in the application form and submit it.
