- The Agriculture Department will announce the scheme through various print and electronic media.
- Applications will be collected by Agriculture Extension Assistants (AEAs), who will also gather bank account information and mobile numbers from beneficiaries.
- Selection of beneficiaries will occur at the Gaon Panchayat (GP) or Village Development Plan (VDP) level.
- Gaon Panchayats must compile a list of beneficiaries, which will be reviewed by the Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) and presented to the District Level Committee (DLC).
- The DLC will approve the list of farmers recommended by AEAs/ADOs.
- Reservations will be made for SC and ST farmers according to state regulations (7% for SC, 10% for ST (P), and 5% for ST (H)).
- Upon approval, the beneficiary list, along with bank details, will be forwarded to the Director of Agriculture, who will coordinate the electronic transfer of funds.
- Financial assistance of ₹ 5000 will be credited to the beneficiaries’ accounts in a single payment.

Step 01: Agriculture Department will publish the advertisement through the print and electronic media in order to invite applications from the respective website
Step 02: This application will be collected by the Agriculture Extension Assistant (AEA) along with bank account details of beneficiaries with their mobile numbers
Step 03: The beneficiary will be selected GP/VDP wise.
Step 04: Gaon Panchayats are required to make a list of all the beneficiaries and compile it by the Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) concerned and this list will be placed before the District-level Committee(DLC) after the scrutiny.
Step 05: A list of farmers from AEAs/ADOs will be approved by District Level Committee.
Step 06: SC and ST farmers will be selected as per the state reservation act which is 7% for SC, 10% for ST (P), and 5% for ST (H).
Step 07: After the approval of the beneficiary list, the list will be sent to the Director of agriculture with the bank account details and mobile number details. Further, the Director will make arrangements to send a request to ASFAC to transfer the amount to the beneficiaries bank account by electronic mode. The APC being the custodian of the ASFAC Bank account will transfer the amount to the individual Bank accounts of the beneficiaries, through RTGS/NEFT from the Bank account of ASFAC. The Financial Assistance will be sent to the beneficiaries' account in a single installment of ₹ 5000/- per beneficiary only.
Step 08: The individual beneficiary will give an undertaking that the financial assistance provided under the scheme will be utilized for the procurement of farm implements only failing which he will be liable for suitable legal action.
Step 09: The list of approved beneficiaries will be published in the District website of the DCs. The same may also be kept in the office notice boards of the DC and DAOs.
