Pratyasha Scheme- West Bengal
Pratyasha Scheme (प्रत्याशा योजना) – West Bengal
The West Bengal Government has launched an innovative housing initiative known as the “Pratyasha Scheme” aimed specifically at police personnel, from constables to inspectors, serving within the West Bengal Police. This program is designed to help these dedicated individuals fulfill their aspirations of owning a home.
Overview of the Scheme
The Pratyasha Scheme is a comprehensive housing project instituted by the Government of West Bengal to aid police personnel in acquiring their own residences. With the backing of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO), the West Bengal State Police Housing Corporation will oversee the construction of various types of flats. All police personnel are encouraged to apply for housing assistance under this initiative.
Allotment Procedure
Flats will be allocated through a lottery system, ensuring a fair selection process. Any flats that remain unallocated post-lottery will be distributed to eligible applicants either on a first-come-first-served basis or through an additional lottery. In the event that applications are fewer than the available flats, allotments will be made based on the order of application submission.
Advantages of the Scheme
