This welfare program is specifically designed for registered workers within the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Once an individual turns 60, they qualify for a regular monthly pension, which acts as a vital source of income for retired construction workers.

• Monthly Pension: Recipients will receive a financial support of ₹3,000/- per month.
• PMSYM Enrollment: Workers aged between 18 and 40 can register under the Pradhan Mantri Shramyogi Mandhan (PMSYM) Pension Scheme, with the premium costs fully covered by the BOCW Welfare Board, Silvassa.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• The individual must be a resident of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
• The applicant should actively work as a Building/Construction Worker.
• Age should be between 18 and 60 years.
• Must have engaged in building or construction work for at least 90 days in a single year.

For application under the welfare scheme:

• The applicant must be a registered member of the BOCW Welfare Board in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
• A minimum of 10 years of membership with the Board is required.

Application Process

Offline Application

Follow these steps to register as a Building/Construction Worker:

• Step 1: Complete the registration application using the prescribed form and attach the necessary documents, along with a fee not exceeding ₹50/-.
• Step 2: Submit this application to the designated officer authorized by the Board.

For applying to the welfare scheme:

• Step 1: Registered workers should fill out the prescribed Form-IX along with all required documents (self-attested where necessary).
• Step 2: Submit the application to the Member Secretary of the BOCW Welfare Board to avail of this benefit.
