Eligibility Requirements
- The applicant must belong to the fishermen community and should be a resident of Puducherry by domicile or birth.
- Applicants must be aged between 18 and 50 years.
- Previous beneficiaries who have availed loans or subsidies under this scheme for the same purpose are not eligible.
- Membership in a Fishermen Cooperative Society is mandatory, and there should be no outstanding dues with the society or department.
- A valid driving license issued by the Transport Authority for operating a moped, auto goods carrier, or transport vehicle is required.
- The applicant must not be employed in any Government bodies, whether on a regular, part-time, or temporary basis.

of the Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare.

of the application form from the concerned authority.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the concerned authority.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).
