Application Procedure

Offline Application Process

1. The applicant should visit the Department of Women and Child Development Office or Sub-Office during working hours to request a hard copy of the application form.
2. Alternatively, the applicant can download and print the application form directly from the official website.
3. Complete the application form by filling out all necessary fields, affixing a passport-sized photograph (if required), and attaching self-attested copies of required documents.
4. Submit the filled and signed application form along with the necessary documents to either the Deputy Director (Women Development) or the Child Development Project Officer, ensuring submission occurs at least 30 days prior to any relevant deadlines.
5. Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the authority, ensuring it contains vital information such as submission date, time, and a unique identification number.

Online Application Process

1. Access the official e-District Portal of the Government of Puducherry.
2. Click on “Login” located at the top right corner of the homepage, then select “Register a New Membership.”
3. On the registration page, provide all mandatory information including username, password, personal details (full name, email, address, etc.), and complete the Captcha verification before clicking “Signup.”
4. Return to the e-District Portal and log in using your new credentials.
5. Once logged in, you will see a list of government schemes categorized by department.
6. Select the Balika Samrithi Yojana to access the online application form.
7. Fill in all required fields in the application form and upload necessary documents (self-attested if required).
8. Check the declaration box to confirm the accuracy of the provided information and submit the application. Ensure to note down the application number for future tracking, which will also be sent to your registered mobile number and email address.
