Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Post Harvest Marketing Scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Meghalaya.
- The applicant should be a bona fide farmer actively engaged in agricultural activities.
- The applicant must own or lease a minimum of 0.2 hectares of land.
Application Process
Farmers interested in availing of the benefits of this scheme can apply through an offline process. The steps involved are as follows:
- The eligible farmer should draft an application on plain paper.
- Attach copies of all required documents (self-attestation may be necessary).
- Submit the completed application along with the documents to the nearest office of the Horticulture Development Officer in the respective CD Block or Horticulture Circle.

Step 01: The eligible bonafide farmer can apply/write an application on plain paper.
Step 02: Along with the application, attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 03: Submit the duly filled and signed application along with the documents at the nearest office of the Horticulture Development Officer of a CD Block/ Horticulture Circle.

The bonafide farmers shall be selected on a first come first serve basis.
