The Old Age Samman Allowance (ओल्ड एज सम्मान भत्ता) is a vital social security initiative launched by the Haryana government’s Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. This scheme aims to support senior citizens aged 60 and above, providing them with a monthly pension of ₹3,000 for those who are unable to meet their basic needs. Application Procedure

Eligible candidates can apply for the Old Age Samman Allowance through two methods: online and offline.

Online Application Process

To apply online, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official Antyodaya SARAL Portal.
  2. In the “SIGN IN HERE” section, click on “New user? Register here”.
  3. Complete the registration form by filling in all required fields and creating a strong password. Ensure your password includes at least 9 characters with a mix of special characters, numbers, and both uppercase and lowercase letters.
  4. Upon submission, an OTP will be sent to the registered email and mobile number. Use this OTP to validate your registration.
  5. Log in to the portal using your email ID and password.
  6. Select “Apply for Service” and then “View All Available Services”.
  7. Choose the Old Age Samman Allowance scheme and fill in the online application form.
  8. After completing the form, click on “Self-Declaration”, enter the verification code, and submit the application.
  9. Preview your details, attach the necessary documents, and save the annexure.
  10. Finally, submit the application and print the generated Acknowledgement Receipt for your records.

Tracking Your Application

You can track your application status through the SARAL Portal or via SMS:

  • Through the Portal:
    1. Visit the SARAL Portal.
    2. Click on “Tracking Feature”.
    3. Select the department and service from the dropdown.
    4. Input your Application Reference ID and click “CHECK STATUS”.
  • Via SMS: Send a message with your Application ID to 7738299899.

Offline Application Process

For those preferring to apply offline, here are the steps:

  1. Visit the Office of the Social Justice Department in Haryana during office hours to request a hard copy of the application form.
  2. Alternatively, download the application form from the official website by clicking on “Download APPLICATION FORM FOR OLD AGE SAMMAN ALLOWANCE”.
  3. Complete the application form, attach a passport-sized photograph, and include copies of all required documents.
  4. Submit the filled application form along with the necessary documents to the designated authority.
  5. Request a receipt or acknowledgment upon submission, ensuring it contains relevant details like the date and time.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the "Antyodaya SARAL
" Portal.
Step 2: In the "SIGN IN HERE" section, click "New user? Register here".
Step 3: The registration form will open in a new window of the browser. Fill in all the mandatory fields of the form. Create a strong password. The password should be at least '9' characters with at least one special character(!@#$%^&*), one numeric, one small case and one upper case letter (i.e. ADmin@357). Fill in the captcha code and click "Submit".
Step 4: An OTP will be sent to the email ID and the Mobile Number provided in the registration form. The OTP received will be for single use only and will be valid for 15 minutes from the time of request. The verification link received over email will be valid for 48 hours from the time of request. On successfully validating the Email ID and Mobile Number via OTP, the following message will be displayed to the user: "You have successfully registered on https://saralharyana.gov.in/. Please login to the application using your email ID and password".
Step 5: Visit the official website of the "Antyodaya SARAL
" Portal. In the "SIGN IN HERE" section, log in using your Login ID and Password.
Step 6: On the next screen, in the left pane, click on ‘Apply for Service’, then click "View All Available Services".
Step 7: You will be shown a list of schemes/services. Click on the scheme you intend to apply for. You will be taken to its online application form.
Step 8: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory details, click on ‘Self-Declaration’. Enter the verification code/Captcha and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
Step 9: Preview all the filled details and click on ‘Attach Annexure’. Upload all the mandatory documents and click on ‘Save Annexure’.
Step 10: After verifying all the details, click on the ‘Submit’ button. Take a printout of the generated ‘Acknowledgement Receipt’ for future reference.

Step 1: The interested applicant should visit (during office hours) the Office of the Social Justice Department, Haryana, and request a hard copy of the prescribed format of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.

. Click on the "Download APPLICATION FORM FOR OLD AGE SAMMAN ALLOWANCE" to download the application form. The applicant should take a printout of the application form.
Step 2: In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields, paste the passport-sized photograph (signed across, if required), and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
Step 3: Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the concerned authority.
Step 4: Request a receipt or acknowledgement from the concerned authority to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission, and a unique identification number (if applicable).
