• Total Financial Assistance: Eligible female applicants can receive a loan amount of ₹50,000.
• Subsidy: The scheme provides a subsidy of ₹10,000, which significantly reduces the financial burden on the beneficiaries.
• Loan Component: The remaining amount of ₹40,000 is made available as a loan at a nominal interest rate of 5% per annum.

Eligibility Requirements

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
• Only female applicants are eligible for this scheme.
• Applicants should belong to the Charmakar Community.
• The age of the applicant must be between 18 and 50 years.
• Knowledge of the business for which the loan is sought is mandatory.
• For agricultural projects, the applicant should have ownership or joint ownership of land, as indicated on the 7/12 land extract.
• For the subsidy scheme, the applicant’s annual income must be below the poverty line.
• For the NSFDC scheme, the income ceiling is set at ₹98,000 for rural areas and ₹1,20,000 for urban areas.

Application Procedure

Applying Offline

1. The interested candidate should visit the District Office of Leather Industries Development Corporation of Maharashtra (LIDCOM) during office hours to obtain a hard copy of the application form.
2. Complete the application form by filling in all required fields, affixing a passport-sized photograph (signed if necessary), and attaching all mandatory documents (self-attested where required).
3. Submit the filled application form along with the necessary documents to the District Office of LIDCOM within the specified timeframe, if applicable.
4. After submission, ensure to request a receipt or acknowledgment from the relevant authority, which should include vital details such as submission date, time, and a unique identifier if available.
