Overview of the Krishi Yantra (कृषि यंत्र) Scheme
The Krishi Yantra Scheme, initiated by the Rajasthan state government, aims to support farmers by providing financial assistance for purchasing agricultural machinery. This initiative is designed to enhance agricultural productivity and efficiency by offering subsidies on essential farming equipment.
About the Scheme
Under the auspices of the Agriculture Department in Rajasthan, the Krishi Yantra Scheme facilitates farmers in acquiring necessary agricultural tools through a structured subsidy program. When farmers procure farming equipment from authorized dealers, they are eligible for a subsidy that covers 40% of the total purchase cost. Notably, government farmers can benefit from a higher subsidy of up to 50%.
Grant Payment Process
- A physical verification of the purchased equipment will be conducted by the Agriculture Supervisor or Assistant Agriculture Officer.
- Farmers are required to present the purchase bill during the verification process.
- Subsidy payments will be directly credited to the farmer’s bank account online.

Please note that the maximum grant amount is contingent on the horsepower of the farmer’s tractor or power tiller. Additional subsidies may be available for other approved agricultural machinery as per the provisions of the Sub Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM).
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must possess agricultural land registered in their name.
- In the case of undivided families, the applicant’s name must be reflected in the revenue records.
- For tractor-operated implements, the tractor must be registered in the applicant’s name.
- Applicants must not have received a subsidy for the same type of agricultural implement within the last three years.
- Only three different types of agricultural implements can be subsidized in a single financial year.
Application Process
To apply for the Krishi Yantra Scheme, follow these steps:
Online Application
- Visit the official portal of the scheme.
- Click on the “Register” option.
- You will be redirected to the Single Sign-On (SSO) registration page.
- Select either the Jan Aadhaar or Google login option.
- For Jan Aadhaar: Enter your Jan Aadhaar number, click ‘Next’, choose your name, head of the family, and other members, and click ‘Send OTP’. Enter the received OTP and click ‘Verify OTP’ to complete registration.
- For Google login: Enter your Gmail ID, click ‘Next’, enter your password, and follow the prompts to create your SSO ID and password.
Submitting the Application
- Log in to the official portal.
- The dashboard will appear; click on the “RAJ-KISAN” option.
- Under “Citizen,” click on “Application Entry Request.”
- Enter your “Bhamashah Family ID” or “Jan Aadhaar” and search.
- Select your name and the relevant scheme name.
- Complete Aadhaar Authentication and click to retrieve details.
- Fill in the required details, including pensioner information, bank details, and verification details. Upload necessary documents.
- Submit your application.

The limit of maximum grant on agricultural equipment mentioned above is the BHP of their tractor/power tiller/power driven equipment. Based on capacity.
Note-
Subsidy on all other approved agricultural machinery will be payable as per the provisions of Sub Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM).
NFSM (Wheat and Pulses) Under the scheme, SMAM on agricultural equipment like Rotavator/Turbo Seeder, Multicrop Thresher, Seed Drill/Seed cum Fertilizer Drill, Disc Harrow/Disc Plow etc. The grant is payable as per the provisions of the scheme.

Registration
Step-1: Applicant have to visit the official portal

Step-2: Click on the option “Register
”.
Step-3: Then you will be redirected to the SSO registration page. The registration page will appear with the following options.
Citizen
Step-4: Choose the either one option from the Jan Aadhaar Or Google to process further.
Jan Aadhaar : Enter the Jan Aadhaar number, click on the ‘Next’ button,
Select your name, the name of the head of the family and all the other members and
Click on the ‘Send OTP’ button. Enter the ‘OTP’ and
Click on the ‘Verify OTP’ button to Complete the registration.
Google : Enter the Gmail ID, click on the ‘Next’ button,
Enter the password.
A new link appear on screen, now click on new SSO link.
SSO id will appear on screen, now create the password.
Enter Mobile number, click on registration.
Step-5: Complete the registration process.

Step-7: Complete the Aadhaar Authentication and click on Get details.
