This scheme, administered by the Adi Dravidar Welfare Department, aims to provide essential financial support to economically disadvantaged individuals from Scheduled Castes who are battling prolonged health issues and are unable to sustain their livelihoods.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the benefits under this scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• The individual must be a citizen of India.
• Continuous residence in the Union Territory of Puducherry for a minimum of five years is mandatory.
• Applicants must belong to the Scheduled Caste category.
• Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
• The annual income of the applicant should not exceed ₹2,00,000/-.

Application Procedure

Applicants can follow these steps to apply for financial assistance online:

• Step 1: Navigate to the official website of the e-District Portal of the Government of Puducherry.
• Step 2: Click on “Login” located at the top right corner of the homepage. Choose “Register a New Membership” on the login screen.
• Step 3: Complete the registration form by filling in all mandatory fields, including Username, Password, and personal details such as Full Name, Email Address, and Date of Birth. Agree to the declaration and complete the Captcha verification, then click “Signup”.
• Step 4: Return to the e-District Portal homepage.
• Step 5: Click on “Login” again, enter your Username and Password, complete the Captcha, and click “Sign In”.
• Step 6: A list of schemes will be presented by the Government of Puducherry, categorized by department.
• Step 7: Select the relevant scheme to access the online application form.
• Step 8: Fill in all mandatory fields in the application form (marked with red asterisks) and upload any required documents. Ensure that all documents are self-attested if necessary.
• Step 9: Confirm the declaration stating, “I hereby declare that the above-mentioned details are true and correct to the best of my knowledge.” Submit your application and take note of the application number for future reference. This number will also be sent to your registered mobile number or email.
