Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the New Akanksha Scheme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
  • Belong to the Thakor or Koli community.
  • The family’s annual income should not exceed ₹3,00,000/-.
  • Must secure admission in a recognized institution for one of the following courses:
    • MBA or equivalent (approved by AICTE)
    • MCA (Master of Computer Applications or equivalent)
    • Undergraduate Engineering programs (approved by AICTE/IITs)
    • MBBS or equivalent (approved by the Medical Council of India)

Note: A minimum of 50% of the total sanctioned loan amount is reserved for applicants from families with an annual income of up to ₹1,50,000.

  • Step 2: Click on “Apply Now” located in the top menu bar.
  • Step 3: Select the loan scheme name.
  • Step 4: Choose the loan category and specify the loan amount.
  • Step 5: Complete the Application Form by providing:
    • Personal Information: Name, gender, date of birth, caste, etc.
    • Address Information: Permanent and correspondence addresses
    • Income Details: Family’s monthly income and source
    • Loan Requirement: Desired amount and purpose of the loan
    • Bank Account Details: For loan disbursement
  • Step 6: Upload scanned copies of required documents, including:
    • Caste certificate
    • Income certificate
    • Aadhaar card
    • Passport-size photo
    • Bank passbook (first page)
    • Proof of residence

  • Step 8: Upon successful submission, the applicant will receive an Application ID/Reference Number. It is advisable to save or print the acknowledgment for future reference.
