- A financial loan of up to Rs. 2.00 lakh is available for self-employment ventures.
- Scholarships are offered for teaching positions in special schools, with rates lower than those for non-disabled individuals.
- In exceptional situations, grants and state funding provided under the National Trust schemes will be tailored to meet the unique requirements of individual beneficiaries.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be aged between 18 to 60 years for self-employment loans, and over 5 years for artificial limbs and equipment.
- In extraordinary cases, grants can be awarded without any restrictions based on income, age, or other criteria for individuals with multiple disabilities.
- Students seeking admission to special schools must be aged between 6 to 18 years.
- The minimum age requirement for beneficiaries of shelter homes (Ashiyana / Saket) is 18 years for both males and females.
