The scheme “Assistance to Farmers for Mini Tractor and Power Tiller in Farm Mechanization Program” by the Agriculture and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to improve agricultural productivity and reduce manual labor burden by providing financial assistance for the purchase of mini tractors and power tillers to farmers. The scheme offers a subsidy based on the horsepower of the machinery and the applicant’s category to promote inclusive agricultural mechanization and improve efficiency in farming operations.

Benefits

Mini Tractors up to 20 HP and Power Tillers above 8 BHP:

General Category Farmers: Financial assistance of ₹45,000/- or 40% of the equipment cost, whichever is less.

SC/ST Farmers: Financial assistance of ₹60,000/- or 50% of the equipment cost, whichever is less.

Power Tillers Below 8 BHP:

General Category Farmers: Financial assistance of ₹40,000/- or 40% of the equipment cost, whichever is less.

SC/ST Farmers: Financial assistance of ₹50,000/- or 50% of the equipment cost, whichever is less.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should be a farmer.

The applicant should be a resident of Gujarat.

The applicant should be engaged in agricultural practices and require mechanization support.

The applicant should intend to purchase either a mini tractor up to 20 HP, or a power tiller (either above or below 8 BHP).

Registration Process:

Step 1: The applicant may visit and apply online at the

I-Khedut

Portal.

Step 2: Click on ‘Login’ from the top right-hand side, then click on “Beneficiary Registration” and select any one from the ‘Farmer’ or ‘Institutional’ or ‘Except For the Farmer’ as the Beneficiary Type.

Step 3: Select the District, Taluka, and Village, choose ‘what type of account holder you are?’, enter your Account Number and Name, solve the Captcha, and click ‘Save and Next’.

Step 4: Enter your Mobile Number and Email address, click ‘Send OTP’, enter the received OTP, create and confirm a Password, solve the Captcha, and click ‘Submit’.

Login Process:

Step 1: The applicant may visit and apply online at the

I-Khedut

Portal.

Step 2: Click on ‘Login’ from the top right-hand side of the homepage. On the home page, click on ‘Schemes’ and then click on ‘Agricultural Schemes’.

Step 3: Now select the scheme, click on the ‘Apply’ button, and an application page will open.

Step 4: Click on the “Apply New” button and submit a new application.

Step 5: Click on the “Update Application” button to add corrections to the application.

Step 6: Once the application is done, confirm it.

Step 7: Take a printout of the confirmed application.
